.The first time I met Billy was on one of my trips back home to Ogallala. He was playing over at his friends house which happened to be across the street from my moms house. I wasn't having the best day of my life so I was outside my house just playing volleyball with myself, trying to get my mind off of things when Billy came up to me and started talking. Being the non-shy person he was, he invited my friend and I to go and play football with him and his friends. We all warmed up to each other and Billy was the icebreaker. Billy turned my day from bad to good in a matter of seconds. He'd do anything to put a smile on anyone's face.. He even threw a couple footballs at my friends car. I figured, he made my day better, and it looked like he was enjoying himself, so why not let him? After that, every time I was home from college I always made sure I bumped into Billy somehow.
